Gordon Browne's Hand Gun Collection
When: Monday, September 13, 2010 starting at 6:30PM
Where: FR&G Club House
Back by popular demand...Gordon has agreed to give us another presentation this time based on some handguns from his collection. If you have seen any of the previous presentations Gordon has given us you know you don't want to miss this one. If you haven't but you are interested in history and how firearms have played a significant role in the development of this country you owe it to yourself to see one of these presentations for yourself.
Dinner: Pizza and soda will be provided; donations to the food fund will be greatly appreciated. |

Bow Hunting in Southern Maine - Presented by Val Marquez (Maine Bowhunting and Southern Maine Report Columnist for the Maine Sportsman Magazine)

ATTENTION BOWHUNTERS! If you bow hunt in southern Maine or are just thinking you might want to give it a try you don't want to miss this! Val Marquez is a well established columnist for the Maine Sportsman. His columns are very practical and offer specific advice. His presentation will focus on how to be prepared for a bow hunt in southern Maine. He will also be bringing some of his hand made bows and archery tackle to share with the club.

We are open to the public Wednesday nights for Trap and Silhouette Practice starting at 5:00 PM till Sunset.
Trap Fees are $3.50 per round(25 shots) for members and $4.00 per round for nonmembers. Each participant is responsible for their own ammunition. Shot guns shells shall be target loads, shot size no larger than 7 1/2.
Silhouette Practice is on the Rifle Range for .22 rimfire rifles and handguns along with Cowboy Lever Action centerfire rifles chambered for straight-walled pistol cartridges (no magnum loads, please). |

Everyone is welcome. We start at 9:00am please come a little early to register. There is a price increase this year. The cost is $10.00 per gun for non club members and $5.00 per gun for club members.
