The Falmouth Rod and Gun Club was established in 1947 on land that was formerly used as a military training ground when Casco Bay had a large military presence. When the military wound down operations and abandoned the land a group of local Falmouth residents stepped forward to charter the new Falmouth Rod and Gun Club. The land consists of a 100 yard rifle range, a competition pistol range, a trap range, a general use pistol and .22lr range, and a 3D archery range. The club basement houses the only indoor range, for airgun and archery. We are a nonprofit that is completely volunteer and member run.
