TURKEY SHOOT

The Falmouth Rod & Gun Club Trap Committee  hosted

the ANNUAL TURKEY SHOOT this November 2025:

We hosted 28 shooters who shot a total of 65 rounds which equates to 1625 targets or 12 cases. We awarded 20 turkeys totaling 260 lbs. The 50/50 drawing winner took home $55.00.

Stay tuned for this event again in 2026 and more trap events like it to come!

Cookout & Annual Auction 2026: stay tuned!

The Annual Auction 2026 in summerTBA:

Do you have nice items to donate? Did you recently clean out some sporting equipment? Did you buy something last time that you regret and want to burden someone else with?

If so, we’d love to have them!

You can bring them to donate that day, or you may find the clubhouse open during our Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday morning events. We can always use more good stuff!

If you are willing to cook, please reach out to George Spino(george.spino@frandg.org).

Youth Archery

We will resume Indoor Youth Archery Program 2026 on these FRIDAY MORNINGS: Jan  9 & 23, Feb 6 & 20, Mar 6 & 20, Apr 10 & 24, and May 8.

If you home school, or have a flexible/non-traditional education schedule, this program may be of interest.  If you would like to foster an appreciation of the shooting spots for the next generation, we would love your help!

Audience:  Young Archers: ages 6 through 11

Teen Archers: Middle and High School 11+

The first two sessions (8:30am and 9:30am) are for 6-11yr olds,
and the second two (10:30am and 11:30am) are for middle and high school (ages 11+).   We require registration so we can manage the numbers each session.

We have up to four sessions in a day, each lasting for an hour.
We cannot handle walk-ins. We do not allow drop-offs, a responsible adult must remain with the children at all times.

These archery sessions provide an opportunity for archers of all skill levels to participate in the sport of archery and enjoy each others company. This is a recreational session and is not a class. There will be club members there to assist and help give pointers. New archers are absolutely welcome!

Loaner equipment is complimentary for all those that need it. Feel free to bring your own as well! We have traditional bows for all skills levels and entry level compound bows as well.

We are in need of volunteers to support this program through 2023 and beyond.

There is no need to be there the whole time, thought it would be great if you can be. Even an hour would be a great help.

Please reach out to George Spino (george.spino@frandg.org) regarding helping out, registering a youth participant, or a non-member referral.
